Every Medipay payment posts across to Xero automatically as a paid invoice.
What syncs
- Each payment arrives in Xero as a paid invoice, so nothing waits to be reconciled
- You choose which Xero account the payments land in
- Historic payments can be backfilled once you connect
- A weekly statement email summarises what was posted
How to connect
- In the Medipay portal open Settings and choose Connect Xero
- Sign in to Xero and approve Medipay for your organisation
- Pick the account payments should post to, and optionally run the backfill
Who it is for
Practices whose bookkeeper lives in Xero and is tired of matching card payouts by hand.
Payments still come in every way Medipay supports: pay links by email or text, the virtual terminal for phone payments, and card machines at reception. The integration is about where the record goes afterwards.
