Help private practices get paid without the paperwork

Medipay is a small team building the payment platform for UK private healthcare. We are hiring into two teams: Product and Sales.

Product

Designs and builds the portal that practices run their payments from: pay links, phone payments, instalment plans, and the connections into practice-management and accounting software.

What we look for

  • You start from what a reception team actually does all day
  • You are careful with money and patient data, and say so when a shortcut is not safe
  • You would rather test a small thing this week than plan a big thing this quarter

Sales

Talks to practice owners and managers, compares what they pay today against Medipay line by line, and stays with them until they are live and taking payments.

What we look for

  • You ask before you pitch, and quote from the practice's real numbers
  • You tell a prospect plainly what the platform does not do yet
  • You keep your pipeline honest and hand a new practice over properly

How hiring works

  1. ApplyA short form and your CV or LinkedIn profile. About five minutes.
  2. AssessmentOnline, about 30 minutes, in your own time: how you work, judgement in situations from the job, one short written task and a timed reasoning section.
  3. ConversationAn interview with the people you would work with. We use the same scorecard for every candidate, and we talk through your written task.
  4. DecisionWe reply to everyone who completes the assessment, whatever the outcome.

About the assessment

Most payments companies test candidates before interview. Ours is short, and we tell you up front what is in it.

No pass markThe assessment gives us better questions to ask you. A person reads every result alongside your application, and nobody is turned down by a score.
The same for everyoneEvery candidate for a team gets the same questions and the same scorecard, so the comparison is fair.
AdjustmentsIf a disability or condition means the format does not suit you, tell us on the form. Extra time on the timed section is given on request, no evidence needed.

We use what you send us only to consider you for a role at Medipay. It is seen by the Medipay hiring team and stored in the UK or EU. We keep it for up to 12 months after the process ends and then delete it. You can ask to see it, correct it or have it deleted sooner at any time by emailing info@medipayuk.co.uk.
